In 2020, for the first time, SMT with Skills Tasmania and Apprenticeship Network Providers (ANPs) will be offered Master <35 M and MED 2 traineeships.
Traineeships allow employers the opportunity to access Apprenticeship funds to help support their employees learning.

SMT was excited to welcome its first group of international students for 2025. The students came from Seongsan High School, a public high school in Daegu, South Korea, and spent three days learning about maritime and aquaculture practices in Tasmania.
